Pike County Outreach - Food Pantry
We Are Feeding The Hungry!
Choice Food Pantry
A choice food pantry is one in which the clients are able to pick what foods are needed for their household. The value is in the raising of the self esteem of the family by giving control over what is served in their home and a saving for the pantry because food which is not needed or wanted is not given. Our choice food pantry is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:a.m. to 3:p.m. and on Tuesday and Thursday from 9:a.m. to 12:p.m.
Households may get food once a month, if necessary. A three day supply of food is given.
We get food for distribution from:
- Churches
- Food drives
- Organizations and Businesses and...
- YOU!

Monetary donations are used to purchase food and to pay the service and delivery fees for food obtained through the FreeStore Foodbank.
Based on Sav-a-lot prices you can feed a family of 4 for 3 days for around $20.00.
